Own Your Everyday 🎉⁣ ⁣ I can’t even begin to explain how much this book meant to me. I’m so excited that I was chosen to be a part of the launch team of this book. You can tell that @jordanleedooley poured everything she has into this. She wrote it as if you’re sitting in a coffee shop having a conversation about life with her. I’ve never related so much to a writer in my life.⁣ ⁣ For those who don’t know, I’ve had the same job for 7 years and dropped out of college after a year and a half. Honestly, college wasn’t a good experience for me at all. School has never been easy for me. I don’t know what direction I want to go in with my life. I’m at a place where it’s hard for me to decide what I want to do. I’m not good at branching out and taking risks. I like to stay in my comfort zone because of past experiences that have made it hard for me to move on and change up my routine. I took classes to get my CDA and am now in a season of waiting as I continue to try to earn it. It can be so hard to wait for good things to come, but I have to remember that it will be worth it when I earn it. ⁣ ⁣ A quote that really stood out to me in this book (and there were a lot of them) was “If you find yourself in a season of waiting, it can be so easy to wish it away, pray for a quick fix, or think the answer lies in some future outcome. I hate to break it to you, but you can’t Amazon Prime your life. You can’t make it go any faster than it’s going to go. You can’t fast-forward the story that’s been written for you or rush through the hard work that might be required of you right now.” In this season of waiting, I’ve been so impatient. I’m always waiting for the next vacation day, the weekend, or the next time I’ll be happy. ⁣ ⁣ This book is for EVERYONE, whether you’re in high school, married, single, in college, just getting out of college, a mom... wherever you’re at in life, I highly recommend this book. Jordan relates many stories to all walks of life. She has lots of wisdom to share from her experiences. You can purchase this book NOW anywhere books are sold! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣
